(c) 1942 McKesson & Robbins, Inc. 11" x 10.75". 16 pages.
A twelve month 1943 calendar (compliments of W.H. Pickett Drug Co., Waterbury, Connecticut). Each calendar month is topped with a Warner Bros. movie star testimonial photo promoting Calox Tooth Powder (as well as astrology info for the month). Dental tips & info is featured within each calendar bottom.
Stars include
Ronald Reagan, Olivia de Havilland, Alan Hale Sr., Jane Wyman, Alexis Smith,
etc. Star not pictured (May calendar girl) is Priscilla Lane.
A scarce original wartime testimonial calendar.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Mild surface creasing. Scattered minor edge tears (mainly on die-cut hole areas on tops, largest tear being 3/8"). Well bound with bold graphics. No spine edge separation. Complete and uncut.
Overall, we feel this calendar is in very displayable condition by most standards (see photos).
