This Truck and Racer combo updated the 1988 model, including continuing the resurgence of the split windshield cab design.  The racer is designed for a more aerodynamic appearance, and its motor reconfigured to allow for continuous rolling action.  Triple-green striping on the truck's sides compliment the racer and create a more striking, streamlined look.
1975 / 1976 Hess Box Trailer

The 1975 Hess Box Trailer boasted many "firsts" in the fleet.  The first box trailer, the first with sliding side doors, the first with working rear doors.  and behind those doors are three removable miniature oil drums.  with working head and tail lights, and chrome detailing on the cab, it is also the first delivery rig to have a full driver's window.
The 1975 / 1976 Hess Box Trailer are nearly identical models, with the later model sporting a slightly darker shade of green.  The only other difference is not on the truck itself, but in the accompanying oil barrels, which were branded with the Hess logo on the 1976 version.
1996 Hess Toy  Emergency Truck

From the chunky threaded rubber tires to the imposing, angular cab, the Emergency Truck is a power-full vehicle.  It has a full suite of sounds - backup alert, emergency siren, and horn and lights, including a rotating high-
beam searchlight.  The rotating triple-teared ladder extends to fifteen and a half inches.
