It has a weathered grey stain and the sides as well as the recessed, engraved words and graphic has been hand painted black.

The graphic is one of my own compilations that I digitally carved into pine wood and bevel routed the edges.  Once the sign has been carved, I hand paint the words/graphics as well as the side bevel.  Then it gets a coat of light colored stain and then a sealing coat of varnish.
