ANTIQUE HEINZ APPLE BUTTER GLAZED STONEWARE CROCK with COLORFUL LABELS & BLACK LID
This is an antique apple butter crock with lid that advertises for Heinz brand Apple Butter and dates to the early 1900's. White glazed stoneware crock has a colorful label attached to the front that reads, "Heinz Apple Butter Pure Food Products 57 Varieties Established 1869" and has the Heinz logo on a pickle. The sides have graphics of red apples. The back label has an ingredients list and shows the food act of June 30, 1906 listed. Labels are missing pieces but still display nicely. The lid is attached by a metal piece. Black porcelain lid has a sizeable piece missing near the back. It still displays great in the front though. Please see pictures for design and condition detail in crock. Beautiful display piece overall. Weighs over 3 lbs. and measures 8.5" tall by 4 and 1/4" in diameter at base.
