Chinese Yixing Teapot Signed SHAO QUANZHANG (1909-1969) Calligraphy AS IS

Description

A superb vintage yixing teapot by famous master potter SHAO QUANZHANG. Sold AS IS, AS FOUND. The lid has broken clean into two pieces. The good news is that it would be a fairly straightforward repair, as repairs go. Small glaze flake (please see photo 10) Measures approximately 7 1/2" wide from handle to spout, and approximately 2 1/2" tall with lid on. Signed marked on base and on handle. Incised calligraphy and flower motif.

Aside from the lid, everything is in good condition.
Even with the damage, this is still a quality teapot deserving of restoration. QUANZHANG's yixing teapots routinely sell for thousands at auction. This is an authentic teapot by QUANZHANG.
