Offered, is an original 1940 pinup advertising calendar from Bowman & Switzer Groceries, located in Austin section of Chicago, Illinois.  It features a gorgeous pinup image of a long blond haired young lady, titled, "Gloria", by artist, J. Knowles Hare.
The calendar pad is complete with all 12 months.  The calendar is in very good condition, with minor edge and corner wear.  It measures 13" x 8".  This is a great original J. Knowles Hare piece, and authentic '40s Americana!  Please see pictures for exact condition.  What you see, is what you get.
