Sowerby Glass African Shield Covered English Mustard Jar

Description

This is a Mustard or Condiment Jar made by Sowerby Glass Co. in the Northeast part of England around 1900.  They called the pattern African Shield.  It is in excellent condition.  No flea bites, chips, flakes or cracks.  The metal lid is in need of polishing if so desired.  It stands 4 1/4" tall and measures 4 1/4" wide.  The base measures 2 3/4" wide.  wt.- 9.4 oz.
