    Description

    Featured is a 1946 Varga pin-up calendar with verses by Phil Stack. Alberto Vargas (1896-1982) was a Peruvian-American painter of pin-up girls, and is regarded as one if the finest artists in his genre.  Vargas dropped the "s" from his surname when he began working for Esquire magazine in 1939.
    The 1946 calendar is 8.5" x 12" and is in very good, clean vintage condition.  Please see the included photos as a condition guide.  The calendar comes with the original Esquire mailing envelope.
